What to expect before, during, and after your treatment

This is a zero downtime treatment that delivers amazing results.  These neuromodulators are derived from a botulinum molecule. This specialized component works to bind to the underlying muscles within skin and relaxes them. During treatment, Dysport®, Jeaveau® or Xeomin® are directly administered into the underlying facial muscles through the use of a fine needle. We do not normally numb the treatment area, as this is relatively painless. Once delivered, the injectable substance binds to the muscle, relaxes it, and prevents it from being able to contract. Results offer a refreshed and relaxed complexion that can last for up to 6 months. Please keep in mind that neuromodulators can take up to 14 days to fully kick in. Because this is a non-invasive treatment, there is no required downtime following sessions. You are instructed to remain in an upright position for at least 4 hours after injections but most activities are not restricted after that.

Dermal fillers do not require any specific downtime. Most patients return to work the day after their injections. However, it is recommended you do not schedule your filler appointment less than 2 weeks from a major event. 

You may experience possible minor side effects such as swelling, redness, bruising, and tenderness. Following your After Care Instructions provided after your appointment will help with these. All side effects should go away within a week of your injections. 

Your final results will become evident within two weeks. Some fillers show immediate final results, while others take a week or so to settle. Hyaluronic acid fillers are dissolvable in-office, if you choose, and will eventually absorb into the body. 

Our practitioner will design a treatment plan tailored to help you improve your chin profile (and/or other areas).

During your treatment sessions, we will administer PCDC into the fat in the treatment area using multiple injections. Many patients experience visible results in 1 to 4 treatment sessions. Up to 6 treatment sessions may be administered spaced no less than one month apart.

You can resume your normal daily activities immediately after treatment though you will have substantial swelling for the first few days. Keep social plans and work commitments in mind when scheduling your treatment. Swelling is generally resolved enough to return to work and workouts in 3 days. The remainder of swelling and inflammation will be completely resolved within one month. Results will develop gradually over time as the fat disappears and chin contour improves.

A PRP injection is a low-risk procedure and does not usually cause major side effects. The procedure involves a blood draw, so you should make sure you are hydrated and have eaten beforehand to prevent feeling lightheaded. After the procedure, you may experience some soreness and bruising at the injection site. 

Blood is drawn and then placed into a device called a centrifuge that rapidly spins the sample, separating out the other components of the blood from the platelets and concentrating them within the plasma. The platelet rich plasma is then injected into the desired area of treatment.

Because PRP injections are made up of your own cells and plasma, the risk of an allergic reaction is much lower than with other injectables. 

Superficial peels offered at day spas can give the skin a nice glow, but our medical grade peels offer longer lasting results. We use well known, safe and effective acids in low percentages to ensure a great result for all ethnicities, with little risk of side effects.

Some peels are performed in a series of 3 peels (typically once a month for three months).

Be sure to prep your skin (and your schedule) and plan your “down time” properly so that you enjoy an easy, stress free process and most of all, absolutely gorgeous results!

Your skin will take approximately 1 week to "peel and heal" and that is why it is important to schedule a consultation to discuss the best timing and options for YOU. 

 A medical grade topical numbing cream will be applied to the desired treatment areas prior to your appointment to help alleviate any discomfort. During the treatment, the microneedling device is gently moved across the surface of skin. Tiny micro-punctures are created on the surface which work to activate the natural production of collagen within skin. These tiny punctures also act as channels for the treatment serum to better penetrate beneath the surface to the underlying tissue layers. 

Immediately after the treatment, most patients report looking red as if they have a mild sunburn. This redness can last 12 to 24 hours depending on the treatment settings. After the skin has returned to its normal tone, you may experience peeling or slight flaking of the treatment area. It is important to follow the post treatment instructions provided to you by your provider. For optimal results, we recommend a series of 3 treatments spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. 

To prepare for dermaplaning, your face will be cleansed with alcohol. This removes oil and debris. Nothing is applied to the skin during treatment.
Clients can apply makeup and follow their usual skincare regimen after. It is important to continue wearing sunscreen daily to protect your skin from sun damage.
Occasionally, some patients with especially sensitive skin may experience some minor redness. This is easily covered with makeup and will resolve within a couple of days.
